Lagos Taskforce Storm Cubana Night Club At 1 AM, Seizes Number Plates Of 28 Illegally Parked Vehicles
LASG seizes number plates of 28 illegally parked cars at Cubana Night Club during enforcement exercise conducted by Lagos Taskforce.
Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources said that the vehicles were obstructing the free flow of traffic.
He further revealed that the owners of the offending vehicles will all be charged to court.
The Lagos State Government has seized the number plates of twenty-eight (28) vehicles that were Illegally parked at Cubana Night Club during a night enforcement exercise conducted by the Security Taskforce team at 1a.m on Saturday October 5th 2024 (today)
In a statement posted on X.com, the Lagos State Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, stated that the vehicles were obstructing the free flow of traffic along Sobo Arobiodu road, GRA Ikeja.

The statement reads :
“The Lagos State Environmental/Security Taskforce team today at about 0100hrs (1a.m) carried out a night enforcement operation, during which number plates of vehicles parked illegally in front of Cubana (Night Club) obstructing the free flow of traffic along Sobo Arobiodu road, GRA Ikeja, were untied and confiscated accordingly.”
The statement further revealed that the owners of the offending vehicles will all be charged to court.
“28 number plates of vehicles caught violating the Lagos State traffic regulations at the location were all removed. Owners of the offending vehicles will all be charged to court.”
