Lamborghini Cars Sold Out Until 2024
Italian sports car maker Automobili Lamborghini has already sold all Its six-figure cars until 2024.
Lamborghini, earlier in August, reported record first half of the year (Jan-June of 2022).
In detail, Lamborghini delivered 5,090 cars across the world for a turnover of 1,332 billion euros.
This is an increases of 4.9% and 30.6%, respectively, compared to the first six months of 2021.
Urus Super SUV remains the brand’s bestseller, accounting for 61% of the total sales.
Lamborghini recently revealed the Urus Performante – a lighter and high-performance version of the Urus.
Automobili Lamborghini is enjoying “high demand” for its six-figure sports cars as the order book now covers the next 18 months, Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini told AFP on Tuesday.
The Italian sports car maker says it has already pre-sold the entire production run to early 2024, as wealthy customers keep flocking to the brand despite the global financial fallout from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“We have more and more stepping into Lamborghini. Because they trust the brand, they see how beautiful the cars are, how (high) performing they are,” Winkelmann said.
Earlier in the month, Lamborghini reported the best half-year in its history in terms of sales, turnover, and profitability after delivering 5,090 cars across the world for a turnover of 1,332 billion euros. These figures was an increase of 4.9% and 30.6% respectively, compared to the first six months of 2021.
The Lamborghini Urus Super SUV remained the brand’s bestseller, accounting for 61% of sales, compared with 39% for the super sports car models Huracán and Aventador. The brand recently revealed the Urus Performante – a lighter and high-performance version of the Urus.
“We are closing an extraordinary six-month period,” affirmed Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, “and the outlook is equally positive, with orders collected already covering all of 2023.”
“A clear long-term strategy and the strong attractiveness that characterizes our brand” are the keys to Lamborghini’s success, according to Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini.
