Maserati Says Its Not Giving Up On Sedans

Speaking to reporters during the launch of the refreshed 2027 lineup, Maserati executives confirmed that the company will also offer a new high-performance luxury sedan.
When asked if another sedan is on the way, Maserati replied: “The answer is absolutely yes.”
While executives didn’t go into specifics about future replacements for the Ghibli or Quattroporte, they said the two models have an important place in the company’s lineup.
Maserati says it hopes to win back those customers: “Today we are not present in the E segment, where we have our heritage, our story, which means the Quattroporte or the Ghibli. So we are developing a new model in that direction because there is a specific customer request.”
Maserati has plans for hybrid versions of the Nettuno V6 engine
The company has also confirmed that the Nettuno V6 engine will play a big role in their offer in the next few years. But as many of its competitors have done of late, Maserati has plans to hybridize the Nettuno V6 in the near future.
Cristiano Fiorio, the company’s chief marketing officer, says: “We see a hybrid future for Nettuno, because it’s another kind of performance that we can get. It also gives added value to the customer in the future.”
