Chairman of the Lagos Parks Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo, shows off new uniform for members.
Lagos State Government had on March 10th suspended the activities of NURTW, following the tension in the union.
Following the move, a committee, headed by MC Oluomo, was set up to oversee the affairs of all Motor Parks and Garages in the State.

Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has launched the new uniform for members of the newly formed Parks Management Committee that was set up by the Lagos State Government to oversee the affairs of all motor parks and garages in the state.
Pictures obtained by Autojosh shows the former Chairman of Lagos State chapter of NURTW and some motor park managers kitted in blue shirt and suit that has a badge and stitches with the inscription ‘LASPG’ – which denotes Lagos State Park and Garages.

The Lagos State Government had on March 10th suspended the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos chapter, in all parks and garages, following the tension sparked by some events in the union.
Following the move, the Lagos State Government (LASG) set up a 25-member committee, headed by MC Oluomo, to oversee the affairs of all Motor Parks and Garages in the State.

The Government had earlier promised to ensure that events in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) are not allowed to threaten law and order.
“The Government has, therefore, exercised its constitutional powers to ensure that no vacuum, which can disrupt the peace of our dear State, is allowed to exist in the parks. This is a duty we owe all Lagosians and visitors.”
