Mercedes-Benz Group AG sold 529,200 Cars and Vans around the world in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025. 

Strong performance of Mercedes-AMG (+17%), G-Class (+18%) and Plug-In-Hybrid models (+8%). 

Sales in the Core segment (derivatives from C- and E-Class, including EQE and EQE SUV) reached 263,400 units. 





Top-End sales (Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach, G-Class, S-Class, GLS, EQS and EQS SUV) reached 65,100 units. 

Sales at Mercedes-Benz Cars reached 446,300 in the first quarter (-4% from 463,000 units in Q1 2024).

Mercedes-Benz Vans sold 82,900 vehicles, strong demand for eVans (+59%) driven by eSprinter.

Mercedes-Benz Group AG sold 529,200 Cars and Vans around the world in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, which is a decline of 7 percent from the 568,400 units sold between January and March of 2024.

Sales at Mercedes-Benz Cars reached 446,300 in the first quarter (-4% from 463,000 units in Q1 2024), while sales of Mercedes-Benz Vans significantly decreased by 21 percent to 82,900 units (105,400 in Q1 2024).





In Q1 2025, demand for Plug-In-Hybrid passenger Car rose by +8%, driven by the U.S. market, while sales of eVans reached 4,700 vehicles (+59%), driven by eSprinter.

During the same period, sales in the Core segment (derivatives from C- and E-Class, including EQE and EQE SUV) reached 263,400 units (-2%) and demand for the top-selling model GLC and the E-Class resulted in a sales increase of 14% and 32% respectively.

Top-End sales (Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach, G-Class, S-Class, GLS, EQS and EQS SUV) reached 65,100 units in the first quarter (-2%) while the sales of Mercedes-AMG vehicles increased by 17%, driven by new model introductions for the GLC, CLE, E-Class and GT.

“The overall sales results reflect a mixed picture throughout the world with a positive development in North America and other important markets, especially South Korea. Mercedes-AMG and the G-Class delivered once more a strong sales performance underscoring the attractiveness of the Top-End segment,” said Mathias Geisen, who heads the Marketing & Sales department for Mercedes Group.
