Formula One star Lewis Hamilton to join Scuderia Ferrari from Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 for 2025 season. 

The seven-time world champion is expected to replace Carlos Sainz, whose contract expires at the end of 2024.

Hamilton is set to partner Charles Leclerc in 2025, who recently agreed a new long-term deal.

The 39-year-old joined Mercedes F1 team from McLaren for the 2013 season, where he secured six of his seven championships..





During his time with the Silver Arrows (Mercedes F1 team), Hamilton won 82 of his record 103 races.

Scuderia Ferrari, the racing division of luxury Italian auto manufacturer, Ferrari, has announced that British race-car driver Lewis Hamilton will be joining the team in 2025 on a multi-year contract.

The seven-time world champion is expected to replace Carlos Sainz, whose contract expires at the end of 2024. He is set to partner Charles Leclerc in 2025, who recently agreed a new long-term deal.

Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team had earlier on Thursday announced that Hamilton will leave the team at the end of the 2024 season after triggering a release clause included in the deal he signed last year.

“I have had an amazing 11 years with this team and I’m so proud of what we have achieved together. Mercedes has been part of my life since I was 13 years old”, Hamilton said in a statement released by Mercedes.





“But the time is right for me to take this step and I’m excited to be taking on a new challenge. I am 100% committed to delivering the best performance I can this season and making my last year with the Silver Arrows, one to remember.”
