Moment Thieves Crashed A Bentley Bentayga Into Fences While Trying To Escape With The Stolen SUV
Moment gang of luxury car thieves crashed a N800m Bentley Bentayga in fences in order to escape with the stole SUV.
The four members have now been jailed for stealing over 53 high-end motors, worth over $4.7 million across England.
They were arrested last April after officers built a clear picture of their activities through, forensics, call data and CCTV footage.
The gang’s targeted cars from brands like Rolls-Royce, Bentleys, Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Alfa Romeos.
Surrey Police Force in South East England has shared a footage showing the moment a gang of luxury car thieves crashed a stolen Bentley Bentayga SUV into fences in order to escape off the property.
The CCTV footage starts with the criminals using a ‘master device’ to unlock the keyless Bentley Bentayga. After gaining access to the SUV, one of the thieves then reverses it through fences in order to escape off the property.
The four members of this organised crime group (OCG) have now been sentenced collectively to 12-and-a-half years behind bars for stealing over 53 high-end motors, worth over $4.7 million across England.
They were finally arrested in April 2023 after Surrey Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit built a clear picture of their activities through intelligence, forensics, number plate recognition, call data and CCTV footage.
The gang’s sophisticated thefts took place over the course of a year across the south east of England and their targets included Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, Land Rovers, Range Rovers and Alfa Romeos.
The gang, aged between 28 and 30 years, received sentences of between three and three and a half years after admitting charges of conspiracy to steal and conspiracy to acquire criminal property.
