Nigeria Imported Used Vehicles Worth N532bn In Nine Months — NBS

Nigeria imported used cars worth N531.7 billion between January and September 2021, according NBS.
Nigeria ranks first in Africa as the country importing the most used vehicles from the U.S, and the third in the world.
According to a report by UNEP, Nigeria ranks just below the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Mexico.
Other items imported by the country as of September 2021 included Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) which amounted to N2.52 trillion, wheat which was worth N898.2 billion, and gas oil which totaled N499 billion.
In the data, antibiotics gulped N481 billion, machines guzzled N348.28 billion, while motorcycles and related vehicles were imported at N329.6 billion.
