Last week, Nigerian President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu appointed new Service Chiefs after retiring the former in a bid to strengthen the fight against insecurity in the country.
The appointment of new Service Chiefs comes weeks the President Bola Tinubu met with the now retired Service Chiefs and Heads of other security agencies at the State House, Abuja.

Footage shared shows the now retired Service Chiefs departing from the State House parking lots in high-riding luxury SUVs adorned with flags and 3-4 Star number plates.

According to report, no fewer than 22,032 Nigerians killed from March 2021 to June 2023 during the period the Service Chiefs who were fired by President Bola Tinubu last week Monday.
Ex-Service Chiefs at the meeting were General Lucky Irabor (Chief of Defense Staff), Farouk Yahaya (Chief of Army Staff), Awwal Gamboa (Chief of Naval Staff), Isiaka Amao (Chief of Air Staff) and the Usman Alkali (Inspector General of Police).
