Over 200 Trainees Graduates From Innoson-Bosch Kiara Academy (IKA) Training Program
Over 200 trainees graduates from Innoson-Bosch Kiara Academy (IKA) training Program.
The trainees, selected from five (5) southeastern states, were inducted into program on 16th February 2021.
Bosch partnered with Innoson Vehicles last year to train youths in the Southeastern States of Nigeria.
The partnership is geared toward training youths in four spheres of auto-oriented disciplines.
The partnership will see the training of 2000 youths across the five southeastern states over three years.
These includes training on Auto Mechanic, Auto Elect, Auto fabrication and welding, and Auto spray painting.

Over 200 trainees selected from five (5) States of South Eastern Nigeria have successfully graduated from the BOSCH-Innoson Kiara Academy (IKA) training program.
The graduation ceremony was held on Friday, April 29th, 2022, at the premises of the Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing plant in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The participants were inducted into the BOSCH-Innoson Kiara Academy (IKA) training program in automobile maintenance for youths at Nnewi, Anambra State on 16th February 2021.
The programs delivered at Innoson Kiara Academy were geared towards human capital development, poverty alleviation, and the production of skilled manpower for the Nigerian economy.

The collaboration of the Academy with Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company matches theoretical training in the classroom with functional practical exposure in the very well-equipped workshop of IVM.
The Innoson Kiara Academy Curriculum is designed to give its graduates an all-inclusive educational experience and exposure that provides adequate skills acquisition and employability.
Last year, Bosch partnered with Innoson Vehicles to train youths in the Southeastern States in four spheres of auto-oriented disciplines : Auto Mechanic, Auto Elect, Auto fabrication and welding, and Auto spray painting.
The trainees will also acquaint themselves with the use of the BOSCH Auto diagnostic machine, which are designed to detect mechanical and electrical faults in automobiles.
According to Cornel Osigwe, Head, Corporate Communications and Affairs at IVM Innoson Group, the partnership “will see the training of 2000 youths across the five southeastern states over three years.”
“Upon graduation, Innoson Kiara Academy will support successful graduates who wish to be entrepreneurs to seek funds from the Central Bank of Nigeria to support the establishment of their respective auto maintenance workshops.”, Osigwe explained.
