Over 63,000 Tesla Cybertrucks Are Being Recalled Due To Lighting Issues

Tesla has issued a recall for 63,619 of its innovative “Cybertruck” vehicles due to a software glitch that impacts the functionality of the front parking lights. This issue, while not a safety hazard, requires attention to ensure that these cutting-edge electric trucks maintain their signature style and functionality on the road.
According to reports, the headlights are too bright due to the aforementioned deficiency and can disturb drivers coming from the opposite direction, reports Reuters.
The software solution is already available via an OTA (over-the-air) upgrade that is free for vehicles manufactured between November 13, 2023, and October 11, 2025.
According to Tanjug, the company discovered the problem during an internal check and did not receive reports of crashes, injuries, or deaths related to the mentioned defect.
Tesla recalled 12,963 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles a week ago due to a battery pack defect that could cause a loss of propulsion.
The US regulator, the NHTSA, previously opened an investigation into 2.88 million Tesla vehicles equipped with the Full Self-Driving system, following more than 50 reports of safety incidents.
Despite these challenges, Tesla reported record sales in the third quarter of 2025; however, profit fell short of analysts’ expectations due to tariffs, research costs, and a decline in revenue from regulatory loans.
