Indigenous automaker, Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM), is celebrating thirteen (13) years of vehicle production in Nigeria. Since its debut into the lucrative automotive industry, Innoson has continued to forged ahead by partnering with both State and Federal Government as well as extended its tentacles into other African countries.

“From a small dream to a continent-wide reality Today, we celebrate 13 years of proudly manufacturing vehicles in Nigeria and serving the African market”, Innoson said on its official social media platforms.





While replying a critic back in 2019 , who attacked IVM at the exorbitant price and shape of the IVM G40 gifted to BBNaija winner, Innoson said :

“Rome was not built in a day and the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. Innoson Vehicles will continue to grow steadily, closing the gap little by little, improving on its vehicles and services till it becomes one of the greatest exports from Nigeria.”

“Any careful observer that has been monitoring Innoson Vehicles from the very inception will observe that there has been a tremendous improvement.”

“This is because IVM is using the concept of regionalization in the production of its vehicles by making sure that it considers the local taste and consumer preferences of the African region during production.”





Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing current lineups includes five-seaters Fox and UMU, 15-17 seater Hummer BUS, IVM G12, IVM G40 as well as the IVM G80 SUVs.

According to Innoson, seventy percent (70%) of these car parts are locally produced, while parts like the engine, is sourced from countries like Japan, China, and Germany.
