Sanwo-Olu Inspects Ongoing Red And Blue Rail Line Projects - autojosh

Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on inspection visit to the ongoing Red and Blue Rail Line project sites, on Monday, January 03 2022.

At the completion of the Red line and Blue line projects, Lagos will witness a major boost in its transportation sector.





Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday, January 3rd, 2022, visited the Red and Blue lines rail project sites to assess the progress of the level of work being done.

The Red line project is a 37km rail system that runs from Agbado to Marina, while the Blue line project is a 27.5km rail system that runs from Marina to Okokomaiko.





During the inspection, Mr Governor says the project is on course and assured Lagosians that both Rail Projects will be completed by the end of the year.

“Our promise on the red and blue line is still on course. We believe that, by coming on a quarterly basis to supervise them, we would ensure that before the end of this year, we will see the trains on top of the tracks. That is our commitment and we will begin to monitor check ourselves.”

At the completion of the Red line and Blue line projects – a significant achievement in its rail system – Lagos will witness a major boost in its transportation sector.
