See The $2.5m Carat 65 Bentley Mulsanne Armoured Limo You Haven’t Heard Of

Meet the China-only Carat 65 Bentley Mulsanne armoured limousine that costs the price of 6 Rolls-Royce Phantoms…
Think the $450k (₦163m) Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII is the best luxury on wheels money can buy? Then you need to see this extra-luxurious mobile fortress from Belgian Carat Security Group.
Named the Carat 65 Bentley Mulsanne armoured limousine, this massive car was launched in Shanghai Auto Show back in 2013. It was designed to satisfy the needs of Chinese billionaires.
This massive mobile bunker cost a whopping $2.55m (₦922 million). So what will the Chinese owners get for the extra cash, when a standard Mulsanne cost $1.5m (₦545m) in China and ₦100m in Nigeria?
Compared to the regular ₦100m Mulsanne, owned by celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji and music artist, Don Jazzy, this extended version is 26 inches longer and 3.1 inches taller to enable a more spacious interior cabin.
The private jet-like interior has been upgraded with a sat-coom set, an extra high-tech multimedia system, more leather and more wood.

The 65 is armoured up to level B7, meaning it can withstand an attack with 15kg TNT explosives. Other armouring includes run-flat tyres, reinforced fuel tank, upgraded brakes and a fire suppression system.
Powering this tank is the standard twin-turbocharged, 6.75-liter V-8, pumping out 505 horsepower and 752 pound-feet of torque.
The standard Mulsanne can hit 60 mph in 5.1 seconds, so expect this Limousine, that is at least 1 ton heavier, to do this in over 6 seconds.
The Carat 65 Bentley Mulsanne armoured limousine is not the only Bentley on steroids. Remember the the bullet-resistant Bentley Bentayga SUV from the world’s famous Canadian armored vehicle manufacturer, INKAS?.
Priced at $500,000 (or about ₦181 million, minus the cost to ship and clear it in Nigeria), the Bentayga SUV is the first-ever in the world to be fitted the BR6 ballistic protection. This armouring is designed to withstand fire from high-power rifles such as AK47s and AR10s.
