The Range Rover EV Fully Loaded Model Costs As Much As A Bentley Bentayga
The Range Rover blends rugged off-road capability with high-end luxury, serving as a status symbol comparable to Rolex or Louis Vuitton.
As Range Rover continues to emphasize its status as a paragon of luxury, the base models already command a significant premium. However, the question remains: what is the true cost of a fully configured vehicle equipped with every available option? In this installment of our deep dive into manufacturer configurators, we explored the build process to find out.
The Range Rover ownership experience is defined by convenience, a sentiment that extends seamlessly to its digital configurator. Unlike many competitors that clutter the process with fragmented pages and excessive technical jargon, Range Rover provides an intuitive, single-page interface that makes the customization process both straightforward and sophisticated.
Surprisingly, few options inflate the price. Starting with the Long Wheelbase at $179,500, we selected the 542 hp EV powertrain. Upgrading to the SV Ultra variant adds $95,500 for a $275,000 total. While many colors are free, bespoke finishes cost $2,000. The SV Ultra includes premium standard equipment like Kvadrat seating, ceramic controls, and natural wood veneer.
The SV Ultra offers limited customization, but key upgrades like the $550 Cold Climate Pack, $775 interior protection, $425 mudflaps, and the $12,570 SV Electrostatic Sound system are available. These bring the total to $296,260, positioning the Range Rover firmly against ultra-luxury rivals like the Bentley Bentayga and Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
