This Toyota Fortuner SUV from India has a built-in toilet and it is accessible from inside the cabin.

Part of the third row and cargo space of the SUV were sacrificed to create the moving restroom.

Toyota Fortuner, also known as the Toyota SW4, is a mid-size SUV. It also available in the Nigerian market.

A Toyota Fortuner, just like any other luxury SUV on the market, packs several features that are designed to make a long-distance journey or interstate drive a memorable one except for a toilet.

To solve this problem, a Toyota Fortuner owner from India sought the services of Motorhome specialist, Ojes Automobiles, who helped retrofit a toilet in the boot of his SUV.

According to local automotive journalist Sarath Saji, part of the third row and cargo (boot) space of the SUV were sacrificed to create the moving restroom.

The tiny room has a proper toilet seat, buckle, ventilation and a door that is accessible from inside the cabin. In his YouTube video, Saji explained that the toilet-equipped SUV also has a special tank in the rear designed for carrying water.

Video shared by the YouTuber does not say on how the waste are disposed, buy it is likely a vacuum toilet, which uses suction for the removal of faeces and urine resulting in a minimal requirement of water.

The Toyota Fortuner, also known as the Toyota SW4, is a mid-size SUV manufactured since 2004. Built on the Hilux pickup truck platform, the Fortuner features two/three rows of seats and is available in either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive configuration. Fortuner is available in the Nigerian market.
