The Panther De Ville boasts flowing wing lines and big headlights styled to resemble the 1930s Bugatti Royale.

Inside, it has a modern cockpit and featured TV sets and drinks bars despite the pre-war styling of the exterior.





Coach-Built Panther De Ville is a neo-classic luxury vehicle hand-built from 1974 to 1985.

About 60 examples were made, including 11 two-door convertibles and one pink and gold six-door limousine.

A throwback photos shows a young patriarch of the Ibru family, Michael Onajirevbe Ibru, and his wife Cecilia, posing with his coachbuilt Panther De Ville fitted a customized ‘11 BRU’ number plate.

Olorogun (Chief) Ibru, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 85, was a Nigerian billionaire and Industrialist and founder of the Ibru Organization.

Conceived by Robert Jankel, the De Ville was a favourite of Rockstars and Hollywood stars, with the two-door convertible version being listed as the most expensive production car in Britain for many years.





The Panther De Ville boasts flowing wing lines and big headlights styled to resemble the 1930s Bugatti Royale. Inside, it has a modern cockpit and featured TV sets and drinks bars despite the pre-war styling of the exterior.

About 60 examples of the neo-classic luxury vehicle were hand-built between 1974 to 1985, including eleven (11) two-door convertibles and one pink and gold six-door limousine.

Other famous owners of the De Ville include the singer Elton John, Sultan of Brunei Boxer, George Foreman, the Shah of Iran and French singer Johnny Hallyday.

In addition, the Panther De Ville made appearances in Disney’s live-action movies 101 Dalmatians (1996), 102 Dalmatians (2000) and two De Villes for the film Cruella (2021) as Cruella de Vil’s car.
