Today’s Photos : Governor of Borno State Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum shakes hands with a kid as his convoy rides through the city.
The Executive Governor of Borno State Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum has shared a picture of himself shaking hands with a kid while his convoy rides through the capital city of Maiduguri.
Since he assumed office in 2019, Zulum has used armored variants of the Lexus LX 570 and Toyota Land Cruiser 200 SUVs as his official car. The two SUVs are favourite amongst Nigerian politicians, thanks to their abilities to offer a rare combination of size, luxury and offroading features.
But this isn’t the only picture showing how close he his to the people he governs in Borno State. A quick check on his Instagram page shows several other pictures of Zulum waving to cheering fans, most of whom admired his fight against poverty and terrorism in Borno State.
