Toyota Set To Release A New Electric Crossover SUV Next Month

Toyota has a brand new electric crossover in the development rooms. It will soon leave the new electric Toyota. It will make its debut on March 12!
Late last year, Toyota introduced the Urban Cruiser, a compact electric crossover that has a Suzuki brother in the form of the e Vitara. In March, we will get to know the next new electric Toyota. That will be a considerably larger model. What will the car be called? We don’t know yet. However, it is very unlikely that Toyota will hang its electric newcomer with the bZ label. It was recently announced that the brand is dropping the bZ label in Europe. The bZ3X therefore seems to remain the only bZ model in Europe.
Toyota describes the new electric model as stylish and promises dynamic handling, plenty of interior space, comfort, and versatility. A jack of all trades, if we are to believe Toyota. It is certainly no surprise that the car was in the pipeline. Toyota already showed a series of concept models in December 2021, among which was a preview of the new model. Toyota also showed the Sport Crossover Concept on European soil in 2023. That show car differed slightly from the aforementioned harbinger of 2021 but does have a similar silhouette. It is striking that the final production version, which Toyota is now showing a glimpse of, seems to have the rear lights of the 2021 concept car.
We do not yet have technical specifications for the low-electric crossover with a strongly sloping roofline. Interesting fact: in China, Toyota sells a similar model: the bZ3C.
