A dashboard is a control panel usually located directly ahead of a vehicle’s driver. They display the instrumentation and controls needed for the vehicle’s operation.

Over the years, carmakers have tried to outdo each by producing futuristic and attention-grabbing dashboards. With so many car companies competing for the market, there is pressure on car dashboard designers to come up with the most outstanding dashboard designs.

For some car dashboard designers, the innovations they came up with remained at the concept stage. However, some others ultimately become part of production cars.
