US arrests Nigerian ‘Echezonachukwu Obianefo’ who was accused of stealing $300K Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV.
Obianefo is being held in the Harris County Jail in Houston. The young Nigerian’s bail was set at $50,000.
US authorities has arrested 23 year old Echezonachukwu O. Obianefo in connection with the theft of a luxury Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV valued at around $300,000.
Obianefo is the manager of Osita Links and Logistics Group LLC, a freight shipping trucking company which provides transportation services. The Houston-based trucking company, owned by Mary Obianefo, was incorporated on April 8, 2021.
Obianefo was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and he is being held in the Harris County Jail in Houston. The young Nigerian’s bail was set at $50,000.
According to the Harris County District Attorney’s office, the owner of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, whose name was not released, is a resident of Florida, USA.

It is not clear whether the Rolls-Royce Cullinan was stolen in Houston or in Florida. Also, the date when the allegedly crime was committed was not announced.
In the USA, the Cullinan, Rolls-Royces first-ever ever SUV is classified more as a station wagon than an SUV. So it is not exempted from the fuel eater tax.
First unveiled at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy in May 2018, the Cullinan has helped Rolls-Royce record a record sales since it arrived at the dealership.
Just last month, popular musician Davido became the first Nigerian artist to splash out on the luxury ride. The Cullinan is his first-ever Rolls-Royce and one of several SUVs in his garage.
