The Volkswagen Group delivered 9.03 million vehicles worldwide in 2024, down 2.3 percent versus 2023.
In the Q4 2024, Volkswagen Group sold 2,503,000 vehicles, down 8% compared to the 2,524,100 vehicles sold in Q4 2023.
In 2024, Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini brands sold 1,671,200 (-11.8%), 10,600 (21.5%) and 10,700 (+5.7) vehicles respectively.
Between January and December 2024, Porsche under ‘Brand Group Sport Luxury’ sold 310,700 (-3.0%) vehicles.
The Volkswagen Group, which comprise brands like VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Cupra, Porsche, Lamborghini and Bentley, delivered 9,027,400 vehicles worldwide in 2024, down 2.3 percent compared to the 9,239,500 vehicles in 2023.
In the Q4 2024 (October – December), Volkswagen Group sold 2,503,000 vehicles worldwide, down 8 percent compared to the 2,524,100 vehicles sold in Q4 2023.
BEV deliveries reached 744,800 units – down 3.4 percent on the previous year with 771,100 vehicles. Some of its best-selling all-electric vehicles (BEV) last year were : VW ID.4/ID.5/ID.3, Audi Q4 e-tron/Q8 e-tron, Skoda Enyaq and CUPRA Born.
“The Volkswagen Group has shown a strong performance in deliveries in the fourth quarter and, despite challenging conditions, reached the high level of the previous year with 2.5 million vehicles,” said Marco Schubert, Member of the Group’s Extended Executive Committee for Sales
Between January and December 2024, Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini brands under the ‘Brand Group Progressive’ sold 1,671,200 (-11.8%), 10,600 (21.5%) and 10,700 (+5.7) respectively while Porsche under ‘Brand Group Sport Luxury’ sold 310,700 (-3.0%).
Under Brand Group Core, Volkswagen Passenger Cars sold 383,100 (-2.7%) vehicles, Škoda delivered 79,600 (-2.6%) cars SEAT/CUPRA with 48,000 (+6.0%) cars while Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles sold 28,800 (-1.6%) vehicles.
Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg (MAN), Volkswagen Truck & Bus, Scania and International under Brand Group Trucks/TRATON sold 740 (-32.4%)120 (+31.2%), 270 (+8.1%) and 610 (-8.5%) trucks respectively.
