The driver of a Volkswagen faces a huge insurance bill after reversing his Tiguan crossover SUV over a £210,000 Aston Martin DBS supercar parked outside a dealership in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
According to reports, the two-door 2023 Coupe, with just 542 miles on the clock, is up for sale for £209,900 at the dealership popular with Premier League stars.
Following the crash, shocked staff at the dealership came rushing out to see the damaged supercar, which will now need a bit of a facelift that will likely run into the tens of thousands.

An onlookers, who saw the scene jokingly told The Sun that the crash “was a classic case of ‘you can’t park there mate’”, adding that “There was shards of glass and metal and the floor so it must have done quite a bit of damage.”
“It’s not clear exactly what happened but the driver of the VW somehow lost control, mounted the pavement and a small wall and the car’s back end landed right on the bumper of the Aston Martin.”
“The driver will have been pretty embarrassed because dealership staff came running out to see what happened and people on the street started gawking and taking photos.”
Luckily no one was injured in the crash, according to the onlooker, who told the Sun that “The Tiguan driver wasn’t injured but they face a pretty hefty insurance bill.”
