VW Group Showcases 8 Models From VW, Audi And AUDI Brands At 2025 CIIE In Shanghai
VW China showcases 8 models from VW, Audi And AUDI brands at this year’s China International Import Expo (CIIE).
At this year’s CIIE, the group showcased eight new-gen intelligent connected vehicles, including five electrified models.
Audi showcased two all-electric models — Audi A6L e-tron and the Audi E5 Sportback, the latter the first model of the new AUDI brand.

Volkswagen Group (China) made a powerful appearance at this year’s 2025 China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai by showcasing eight models from Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi’s four-ring and AUDI brands as well as the unveiling of the new Porsche 911 Turbo S.
At this year’s CIIE, the group showcased eight new-gen intelligent connected vehicles, including five electrified models while Audi showcased two all-electric models — the Audi A6L e-tron and the Audi E5 Sportback, the latter the first model of the new AUDI brand.


Also showcased was the legendary Audi 100 Coupé S, a model from over half a century ago as well as a 1969 911 S Targa, standing alongside the new 911 Turbo S that made its Asian debut at this year’s CIIE.
Also at the event, FAW-Volkswagen presented cutting-edge technologies developed in China —including the new CMP (Compact Main Platform) vehicle platform and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions – all of which it said will officially enter the Chinese market in 2026.


To fully meet the diverse mobility needs of Chinese customers, Volkswagen Group plans to launch approximately 30 new energy vehicle (NEVs) models in the Chinese market by 2027, a number it says will increase to approximately 50 by 2030, including 30 pure electric models.
“At the 2025 China International Import Expo, we… fully present our refreshed product lineup and strong technological capabilities under the guidance of our ‘In China, For China’ strategy, showcasing the tangible results of our strategic transformation over the past three years,” said Breitfeld, Chairman and CEO of Volkswagen Group China.
