2021 was Automobili Lamborghini’s best financial year, automaker donates €500,000 to Ukraine.
Turnover reached a 19% increase compared to 2020, while the operating margin increased by 20.2%.
In terms of sales, 2021 was an incredibly successful year for the brand, with 8,405 cars delivered globally (+13% compared to 2020).
Lamborghini’s top market was once again the United States, followed by China, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
The 641-horsepower Urus Super SUV, which starts at $210,000, is the most in-demand model with 5,021 units delivered.
Italian Sports car maker, Automobili Lamborghini, on Thursday said that the financial year 2021 brought the best results ever for the Volkswagen Group brand in terms of sales, turnover, and profitability.
In detail, turnover reached a 19% increase compared to 2020. The operating margin increased by 20.2%, thanks to expert management and the launch of new models.
Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, says :
“Lamborghini has delivered excellent commercial and financial results, the best in its history, which give the company the necessary solidity to navigate a new period of uncertainty like the present one”.

Lamborghini decided to leverage these excellent results in concrete support to the Ukrainian population, with a donation of €500,000 (N231 million) to UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) and the decision to suspend business in Russia.
“We are deeply saddened by what is happening in Ukraine and hope for a swift end to the hostilities in the name of democratic values.”
Automobili Lamborghini had earlier in the year announced it delivered a total of 8,405 cars to customers worldwide in 2021, up 13% compared to the same period in 2020, marking its best results since the Italian automaker was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini back in 1963.
The top market was once again the U.S, followed by China, Germany, and the United Kingdom, while the 641-horsepower Urus Super SUV, which starts at $210,000, is the most in-demand model with 5,021 units delivered.
