2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS EV flagship sedan debut as all-electric S-Class with 478-miles drive range and several luxuries.
The EQS enters the market to challenge the Tesla Model S, Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron GT, and Lucid Air.
2022 Mercedes electric S-Class sedan will be available in two trims : the EQS 450+ and the EQS 580 4MATIC.



German automaker Mercedes-Benz today unveiled its flagship EQS luxury EV sedan after several months of teasing and spy shots.
Mercedes flagship all-electric S-Class sedan debut with industry first 56-Inch MBUX Hyperscreen. This massive dashboard incorporates the instrument cluster, center infotainment center, and auxiliary passenger-side touchscreen.




The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS EV sedan will be available in two trims : the EQS 450+ and the EQS 580 4MATIC.
Standard in the EQS 450+ Includes a 12.8-inch central OLED portrait display, heated leather seats rear headrest pillows, a 3D sound system, and a panorama sunroof.

Base EQS 450+ model will feature a single electric motor on the rear axle, a total of 329 horsepower and 406 pound-feet, and a 0-60mph in 5.1s.

The more powerful and all-wheel-drive EQS 580 4MATIC has a total system output of 516 hp and 611 lb-ft. It will sprint to 60 miles per hour in 4.1-second.
Both electric S-Class will be powered by a 108.7-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, allowing a drive range of up to 478-miles.

The EQS can recharge from 10 to 80 percent in 35 minutes via 110-kW DC fast charging. A 240-volt household wallbox will charge it from 10 to 100% in over 11 hours
Mercedes-Benz is yet announce the pricing, but the EQS EV enters the market to challenge the Tesla Model S, Porsche Taycan, Audi e-tron GT, and Lucid Air.
