Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) has shown off the latest addition to its active-duty fleet, a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that it seized from a suspected drug dealer with the help of the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force (DEA).
Modifications done to turn the seized Corvette into a ‘State Trooper’ includes the addition of blue LED flashers into the front fascia, sirens, side markers, a laptop stand and a portable radio.
“This beauty’s been through some rough camera angles recently… Finally, some shots worthy of the introduction,” FSHP posted on Tuesday to Facebook.
While the Chevy will partake in patrol mission of keeping the highways safe, Florida Highway Patrol noted that its latest addition will also be seen at various educational outreach events to educate that crime doesn’t pay.
