$550,000 Lamborghini Revuelto Sold Out For The Next 2 Years
Lamborghini celebrates Revuelto launch success as orders now cover more than two years of production.
Revuelto is the brand’s first V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports.
Now in full production, the Aventador replacement is expected to reach dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Italian sports car brand Lamborghini this week announced that the all-new 2024 Revuelto is sold out for the next two years, just four months after the debut of the firm’s first plug-in hybrid supercar.
The Revuelto, now in full production, is the brand’s first V12 High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports. It is expected to reach dealerships in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Ranieri Niccoli, Chief Manufacturing Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, commented:
“To manufacture the Revuelto, we understood we had to go above and beyond. It’s a highly customizable hybrid car, yet it’s built using traditional handcrafted skills.
While Lamborghini hasn’t reveal the pricing of the new Revuelto in the U.S., the outgoing Aventador replacement is priced from 500,000 euros (approximately $550,000) in other markets.
“With the introduction of the Revuelto, we expanded the area occupied by the company facilities by 172,000 square meters, investing €150 million in the local area here in Sant’Agata Bolognese.”, Ranieri Niccoli added.
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann, had earlier told Road & Track at a media preview earlier in March that the Revuelto was already sold out for two years even before the unveiling.
Speaking with Road & Track ahead of the unveiling and opening of order books, Stephan Winkelmann said :
“We are going to open up the [order] system at the end of March or the beginning of April when we are officially going to present the car. We already have a high demand,”
“If you put all the orders in we are seeing today, we are already exceeding two years of ordering, ” Winkelmann added while speaking at the event earlier in March.
