First Aston Martin DBX Rolls Off The Production Line
First Aston Martin DBX SUV rolls off the production line nearly 8 month after it was officially revealed.
Aston Martin believes the DBX will help bring in some cash; especially in markets where SUVs are the preferred cars and also the biggest sellers.

The first DBX has rolled off the production line nearly eight month after Aston Martin officially revealed the first ever SUV in its 106-year history.
The luxury DBX, which has a starting of $189,900, will compete with the likes Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga SUVs.

With deliveries starting later this month, Aston Martin believes the DBX will help increase its presence in markets where SUVs are the preferred cars and also the biggest sellers.
Last year, Aston Martin CEO Andy Palmer suggested that the luxury SUV could sell 5,000 units annually.

The British luxury marque says it has received more than 2,000 orders for the DBX.
Aston Martin Executive Vice President & Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman, who was at manufacturing facility to witness the completion of the first SUV, said:
“We are incredibly proud of our first SUV, which is as much of an Aston Martin as any one of our sports cars.”
“From my design team to the engineers, the vehicle dynamics team and all the experts who hand-craft this beautiful car, here at St Athan, the DBX has become the car that will drive Aston Martin into a bold new era.”

Powering it is the same 4. 0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine found in the DB11 and Vantage, churning out 550 horsepower and 700Nm of torque.
The AMG-sourced engine propels the DBX from zero to 62mph in just 4.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 181mph (291kph).
