Volkswagen Keeps Lamborghini And Ducatti, Transfers Bentley To Audi
German Autogiant Volkswagen AG keeps Lamborghini and Ducatti, transfers Bentley to Audi.
Bentley, previously operated independently, will be under Audi control from March 1, 2021.
Lamborghini has been managed by Audi AG since 1999.
Motorcycle maker, Ducati, has been under Lamborghini through Audi AG. since 2012.

German Autogiant Volkswagen AG is known for controlling one of the biggest car brands in the motoring world, including VW; Bugatti; Bentley; Audi; Lamborghini; Ducatti; Porsche; SEAT; Skoda; MAN and Scania.
Over the last few months, the effect of Covid-19 pandemic on Volkswagen Group has led to some speculation that the Autogiant might offload its high-end marques such as Bentley, Lamborghini and Ducati.

Now, Volkswagen Group during its Together 2025+ reorganization strategy on Monday announced that it will hold onto all three luxury brands.

Volkswagen’s Together 2025+ reorganization strategy is aimed at cutting fixed costs by 5% and material costs by 7% over the next two-years. It will now see British automaker Bentley fall under the Audi AG.
According to a statement released by Volkswagen, Bentley, which is previously operated independently, will be under Audi AG control, starting on March 1, 2021.
As for Lamborghini and Ducati, the two Volkswagen-owned Italian brands will remain under Audi. Sports car maker Lamborghini has been managed by Audi AG since 1999; while motorcycle maker, Ducati, has been under Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. through Audi AG.
