Who Owns Who? World’s Largest Automakers And The Car Brands They Currently Control

World’s Largest Automakers
Who Owns Who?
Did you know that Volkswagen, who currently makes cars like the Golf and Passat, also makes cars under the Bugatti brand, while its German counterpart BMW owns the Rolls-Royce Motors cars?
Yes, read that right! The automotive industry has a very confusing family tree due to the facts that the “big boys” keeps acquiring the weaker one in order to save them from going into extinction, a fate that befell the likes of Hummer, Saturn, Pontiac and Oldsmobile.
The past few years have seen sales, separations and entire divisions killed off, making it difficult to know which brand is still alive or the automaker that still controls them.
