A flagship, fifth model car is set to join Bentley portfolio of luxury cars on Tuesday May 10th, 2022 at 12:30 BST.

The automaker says the new model will sit at the pinnacle of its range and deliver a breadth of capabilities.

When it arrives, it will join the Bentayga SUV, Continental GT Coupe and Convertible and Flying Spur sedan.

The new model will likely be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain like the current Bentayga Hybrid and Flying Spur Hybrid.

Bentley aims to make every vehicle in its current lineup a plug-in hybrid or EV by 2026.

Bentley Motors is set to announce a fifth model on Tuesday 10th May at 12:30 BST. In a short statement, the British luxury car marque said the new model “will sit in sumptuous comfort at the pinnacle of its range and deliver a breadth of capabilities beyond anything previously offered.”

“Our designers, engineers and craftspeople have gone to new lengths to combine luxury, technology and performance in a way that only Bentley can deliver.”

When the new model arrives in ten days time on May 10, it will be the automaker’s fifth model line, alongside the Bentayga SUV, Continental GT Coupe and Convertible and Flying Spur Sedan.

Bentley is still mute on the powertrain and car type, but the new model will likely be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain like the current Bentayga Hybrid and Flying Spur Hybrid.

Bentley, which had earlier announced plans to launch five EVs in five years, aims to make every vehicle in its current lineup a plug-in hybrid or EV by 2026.

The automaker in January announced a $3.3 billion investment to upgrade its factory at Crewe, England for Electric Vehicles (EV) production.
