BMW International Open : Golfers will try to hit a hole-in-one to win a brand new 2022 all-electric BMW 7 Series (i7).

The brand new i7 xDrive60 is part of BMW’s Hole-in-One award at this year’s 2022 BMW International Open.

The first all-electric BMW 7 Series in history will be awarded to the first player to score an ace on the 17th hole (par 3, 176 metres).

The Hole-in-One Award has been won on eight occasions in the 33-year history of the BMW International Open.





Golfers have won BMW 325i Cabriolet, a Z8, a 535i, an M8 Competition Coupe, a 640i Gran Coupe, an i8, a M760Li, and an i8.

Fans have also had four opportunities to cheer the perfect shot, winning BMW 325i Cabrio, Z8, 535i and a M8 Competition Coupé.

Golfers participating in 2022 BMW International Open will try to hit a Hole-in-One to win this year’s prize of a brand new all-electric BMW 7 Series (i7 xDrive60).

The first all-electric BMW 7 Series in history, part of BMW’s Hole-in-One Award, will be awarded to the first player to score an ace on the 17th hole (par 3, 176 metres).

The Hole-in-One Award has been won on eight occasions in the 33-year history of the BMW International Open.





Keys to the BMW 325i Cabriolet, a Z8, a 535i, an M8 Competition Coupe, a 640i Gran Coupe, an i8, a M760Li xDrive, and an i8 Roadster have been handed to Golfers who have successfully hit a hole in one.

Fans have also had four opportunities to cheer the perfect shot, with the first successful player winning BMW 325i Cabrio in 1991. A BMW Z8, BMW 535i and the most recent, the BMW M8 Competition Coupé, have also been presented to lucky fans at the tournament.

BMW i7 xDrive60

The global launch of the new BMW 7 Series begins in November 2022. The BMW i7 xDrive60, the only variant of the electric 7-Series introduced to date.

BMW i7 xDrive60 features a large 101.7 kWh battery pack that BMW says can power the car for 300 miles (483 km) drive on a single charge.

Despite being a premium EV, the i7 doesn’t support charging speeds of up to 350 kWh like the Porsche Taycan, Kia EV6, and Hyundai Ioniq 5. Instead, it is capped at 195 kW, allowing it to add 80 miles of charge in 10 minutes.
