GM’s luxury brand Cadillac shows off $300,000 Celestiq electric sedan ahead of July 22nd reveal.
Teaser images gives us little glimpses of the front and rear styling, as well as a full look at the grandiose cabin.
Pricing of the Celestiq will likely be in Bentley and Rolls-Royce territory, according “people familiar with the matter”.
Cadillac plans to hand-build just 500 examples, starting next year, while sales will begin in 2025.
Cadillac has shared teaser images of its upcoming Celestiq electric sedan, giving us little glimpses of the front and rear styling, as well as a full look at the grandiose cabin, ahead of July 22 reveal.
“CELESTIQ is uniquely designed to evoke a personal connection, a timeless collaboration between hand crafted artistry and cutting-edge innovation. Revealing a New World Standard July 22nd.”, captioned with the teaser images.
Though pricing is yet to be announced, WSJ reports that “people familiar with the matter” said that price will likely be in Bentley and Rolls-Royce territory at around $300,000.
Speaking of the upcoming flagship car, Erin Crossley, design director, for the Celestiq said :
“Every Celestiq will be instantly identifiable as one of a kind, giving each client a personal connection to Cadillac’s newest flagship,”
“With Cadillac reimagining the future of American luxury, we are entering an era of limitless possibilities and the future of design.”
Cadillac will fully reveal the show car for the first time on July 22, 2022, while the flagship car will make its first public debut during Monterey Car Week in August.
The American luxury brand plans to hand-build just 500 examples of the Celestiq at General Motors’ special Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, starting next year, while sales will begin in 2025.
