General Motors (GM) Caught Testing A Rolls-Royce Ghost : Photos
GM Authority captures General Motors’ benchmarking team testing the performance of ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan.
Currently, General Motors’ Cadillac doesn’t offer a direct competitor to the Rolls-Royce Ghost, which start at around the $350,000.
But its recently revealed all-electric 2024 Cadillac Celestiq will offer luxury and opulence features found on the Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Production of the 2024 all-electric Cadillac Celestiq Sedan, priced at around the $300,000, will start in December of 2023.
The 2024 Cadillac Celestiq will ride on GM’s Ultium Platform and a 111 kWh battery-pack that has a range of 300 miles of range.

Photographers of GM Authority has captured a Rolls-Royce Ghost ultra-luxury sedan in the hands of General Motors’ competitive benchmarking team in the vicinity of the GM Milford Proving Ground.
GM Authority, a forum for GM news, rumors and review, notes that the number “5” on the front and rear windshields of the Rolls-Royce are common on GM’s benchmarking fleet of vehicles.

While GM doesn’t offer a direct competitor to the Rolls-Royce Ghost, its recently revealed all-electric 2024 Cadillac Celestiq, priced at around the $300,000, is set to offer luxury and opulence features as found on the British-made sedan.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost which serves as the brands “entry level” model and starts at around $350,000, is certainly on the bigger end of the full-size luxury sedan spectrum.


While the Rolls-Royce Ghost uses a 6.7L V12 engine, which produces 592 horsepower, the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq will ride on GM’s Ultium Platform and a 111 kWh battery-pack that has a range of 300 miles of range.
The 600-horsepower Celestiq sedan uses a pair of electric motors that allows a 0-60 in 3.8 seconds. Production of the 2024 all-electric Cadillac Celestiq will start in December of 2023.
