Lamborghini Aventador’s Successor Codenamed LB744 To Use 1,001-hp Tri-Motor Hybrid V12

Lamborghini Aventador’s successor codenamed LB744 to be powered by a Tri-Motor Hybrid V12, churning out 1,001-hp.
Upcoming first High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) hybrid supercar set to make its debut shortly in the year.
In addition to boosting power delivery, the electric motors can also turn the new LB744 into a purely electric car.
Uses battery pack can be completely recharged in just 30 minutes using domestic alternating current.
Battery pack can also be recharged under regenerative braking or directly from V12 engine in just six minutes.
Depending on the drive mode selected, the LB744 can become an electric four-wheel drive car.
The LB744 can also drive in all four wheels in zero emission mode even when reversing in low grip conditions.
Automobili Lamborghini has finally revealed the first details of its upcoming first High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car that the Italian marque said will make its debut shortly in the year.
The Aventador successor, codenamed LB744, will be powered by a new naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 mid-mounted engine and tri-motor plug-in hybrid system, developing 1,001 horsepower (1015 CV).
In addition to boosting power delivery at low revs, Lamborghini notes that the electric motors can also turn the new LB744 into a purely electric car, reducing overall CO2 emissions by 30% compared to the Aventador Ultimae.
The Lamborghini LB744 is equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack with an overall capacity of 3.8 kWh. When the charge drops down to zero, the battery pack can be completely recharged in just 30 minutes using domestic alternating current.
The battery pack situated within the central tunnel can also be recharged under regenerative braking from the front wheels or directly from the V12 engine in just six minutes.
Depending on the drive mode selected, the LB744 can become an electric four-wheel drive car. It can also drive in all four wheels in zero emission mode even when reversing in low grip conditions.
