Shocking Moment Stray Loose Tyre From A Chevrolet Truck Sent Kia Soul Flying Into The Air In Horror Crash

Shocking moment Kia Soul is launched into air after being hit by stray loose tyre in a crash caught on Tesla dashcam.

Following the incident, California Highway Patrol confirmed the driver of the Kia Soul only suffered minor injuries.

A Tesla’s dashcam captured the terrifying moment a black Kia Soul was launched into the air after being hit by a stray loose tyre from a speeding Chevrolet Silverado.

The footage starts with the Kia Soul speeding down the motorway in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, on Thursday, before getting ready to overtake a truck on its right.

Just as the Kia pulls up beside a white Chevrolet Silverado, the pickup truck’s left tyre shoots out and rolls directly in front of the incoming Soul, launching it into the air.

After crashing into the stray tyre, the Kia car flipped over and landed on its nose, before skidding to a stop. The footage ends with the rogue tyre rolling back towards the crashed Kia, where it settles next to the rear wheels.

Following the bizarre incident, a spokesperson from the California Highway Patrol confirmed the driver of the Kia Soul only suffered minor injuries.

According to a statement from the Lost Angeles Police Department, there were no reported major injuries from the crash.
