Governor Idris Gifts Kebbi State Lawmakers 24 Brand New Toyota Fortuner SUVs - autojosh

Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, gifts twenty-four (24) brand new Toyota Fortuner SUVs to lawmakers.

Governor Idris says that the Toyota Fortuner SUVs were meant to ease the official duties of the Kebbi State lawmakers.

While presenting the vehicles to the lawmakers, he expressed gratitude for the Assembly’s cooperation and understanding.





Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State on Wednesday March 6th presented twenty-four (24) brand new Toyota Fortuner SUVs to members of the Kebbi State House of Assembly.

During the presentation ceremony held at the Government House, Governor Idris said the vehicles were meant to ease the official duties of the lawmakers. He expressed gratitude for the Assembly’s cooperation and understanding.

One of the highlights of the event was when Governor Idris joined the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Usman Muhammad Ankwe, in a test-drive of the Toyota Fortuner allocated to him.

Disclosing the gesture in a tweet via his X handle on Wednesday March 6th, Governor Idris wrote :

“I am honored to fulfill my promise by distributing 24 First Class Toyota Jeeps to the dedicated members of the Kebbi State House of Assembly for their official engagements.





“Today, at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, I personally presented these vehicles, expressing gratitude for the Assembly’s cooperation and understanding. The harmonious working relationship between the Executive Arm and the Assembly has been paramount.

“In the spirit of collaboration, I joined the Speaker of the Assembly, Rt. Hon. Usman Muhammad Ankwe, in a test drive of the Jeep allocated to him. Let this be a symbol of our commitment to serving the people of Kebbi State diligently.”
