The US Is Recalling Over 170,000 Jaguar Land Rover Models
The Jaguar Land Rover company is recalling 170,169 vehicles in the United States of America due to a potential loss of power, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced today.
According to the data of the regulator, the problem has to do with a failure of the DC-DC converter, which can prevent charging of the 12-volt system, which in certain cases would lead to a complete loss of driving power and exterior lighting of the vehicle
NHTSA says the recall covers multiple models, including the Range Rover, Discovery, Range Rover Sport and Defender, reports Reuters.
A DC-DC converter is an electronic device that converts one level of direct voltage (DC – direct current) to another.
