A terrifying dashcam video captured the moment a runaway tyre slammed into the front of an oncoming Nissan Rogue, crumpling its front structural frame and shattering the windshield before flying over the SUV.

Another video leading up to the crash, reportedly captured by a Tesla vehicle’s dashcam, shows the loose wheel bouncing across the median of Philadelphia’s Schuylkill Expressway before slamming into the SUV.

“State police said they are currently investigating where the tire (tyre) came from. No official information about injuries has been released,” according to NBC News report.⁠
