Fiat Panda operated by an airport handling company crashes into Hawker Beechcraft 400A business jet at Milan Linate Airport.
Footage shows the car crossing into the path of the jet, which was taxiing when the Panda collided with the aircraft’s nose.

A Fiat Panda crashed into a Hawker Beechcraft 400A business jet at Milan Linate Airport (LIN) on Monday, August 10, 2026, in one of the most unusual vehicle collisions caught on camera.
Trending footage captured moments before the crash shows the white Fiat Panda, reportedly a ground-handling vehicle, emerging from a dirt access area onto the airport apron. The car then crossed into the path of the Hawker Beechcraft 400A, which was taxiing when the Panda, operated by an airport handling company, collided with the aircraft’s nose.

Photos taken after the crash show extensive damage to the Fiat Panda’s passenger-side door and window, while the Hawker Beechcraft 400A sustained damage to its nose and radar dome. Thankfully, no injuries were reported following the unusual collision.
Shortly after the collision, airport emergency crews arrived at the scene to inspect the vehicles and secure the area. The incident also briefly disrupted operations at Milan Linate, with airport activity reportedly suspended for around 30 minutes.

At the time of writing, it remains unclear how the Fiat Panda ended up in the path of the taxiing jet. Authorities are reportedly investigating the circumstances surrounding the unusual crash, including what may have caused the vehicle to enter the aircraft’s path.
Some early reports have suggested that the driver may have been distracted, while others have raised the possibility of a medical emergency. However, neither explanation has been officially confirmed.
