2027 Formula 1 Season Announced

Formula 1 and the World Automobile Federation announced, after the approval of the World Council for Auto-Moto Sports, the calendar for 2027, in which 24 races will be held, and the number of sprint races has been increased from six to ten.

Pre-season testing will be held in Bahrain from February 24 to 27 next year.

The 2027 season begins on March 14 with the Bahrain Grand Prix and ends with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 12.

Sprint races will be held for the first time in Bahrain, Australia, Japan, Monaco and Abu Dhabi, while other sprint races will be held in Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil and Qatar.

“The 2027 calendar brings together some of the most significant circuits and exciting cities in the world, creating an incredible stage for another unforgettable F1 season. We are excited to welcome Portugal and Turkey to the championship and to expand the sprint races to ten events, giving our fans more of the excitement, drama and action that makes our sport so special,” said Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali, as reported by the official F1 website.

Bahrain March 14, Saudi Arabia March 21, Australia April 4, Japan April 11, China April 18, Miami May 2, Canada May 23, Monaco June 6, Portugal June 20, Great Britain July 4, Austria July 11, Belgium July 25, Hungary August 1, Italy September 5, Spain September 12, Azerbaijan September 26, Turkey October 3, Singapore October 10, USA October 24, Mexico October 31, Brazil November 7, Las Vegas November 20, Qatar December 5 and Abu Dhabi December 12.
