Efforts by News Agencies to get NAF officials on ground at the NAF Ground Training Command (GTC), Enugu, to speak on the incident was not successful.
Last month, the NAF says it will take delivery of two helicopter gunships from Italy before December.
Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, disclosed this during the 3rd Quarter Chief of Air Staff Conference 2019 in Abuja.
He said a team from the NAF had left the country for Italy to inspect the two aircraft. He added that “certainly, the two helicopters gunships will be delivered before December.’’
