Leonardo DiCaprio’s Lamborghini crashed in ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ expected to fetch $1.5m – $2m at auction.

Featuring a signature scissor doors and a wedge-shaped body, the 1989 Countach boasts a white interior and exterior.

The Lamborghini Countach, VIN ZA9CAOSA6KLA12692, is just one of 658 vehicles produced in the 25th Anniversary lineup.





A 1989 Lamborghini Countach that was crashed for a scene in ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’ is expected to fetch between $1.5 million and $2 million this month during Bonhams Cars auction at the spectacular Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

According to international auction house, Bonhams, the Hero car driven by actor Leonardo DiCaprio enjoyed “the screen for an astonishing 3 minutes and 11 seconds of nonstop thrills” during the blockbuster hit, which earned a staggering $406.9 million at the box office.

Featuring a signature scissor doors and a wedge-shaped body, the 1989 Lamborghini Countach vehicle up for sale boasts a white interior and exterior. The Countach, VIN ZA9CAOSA6KLA12692, is just one of 658 vehicles produced in the 25th Anniversary lineup.

According to the seller’s description, the high-end ride received few bruises during the making of the movie, but additional damages were inflicted to the Hero Car for a more wrecked appearance.





“The Hero Car was used in the actual stunt sequences, which included swerving with its scissor door open, collisions with other vehicles, and hitting various objects such as a sign and a mailbox.

“Miraculously, the Hero Car emerged from these stunts with minimal damage. So, per the direction of Scorsese, the crew used an additional car and a flatbed truck to inflict additional damage to the Hero Car for a more wrecked appearance.

In addition to this cinematic gem, the lucky buyer will get a costume worn by Leo, a director’s chair and a clapboard, both signed by the illustrious trio : Scorsese, DiCaprio, and Robbie, two original crew hoodies, and two DVDs of the film.

The auction will take place this month on November 25th on the Formula 1 grid at the spectacular Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
