Last week, Nord Automobiles added two new SUVs, the A5 and Demir, to its growing lineup of Made-in-Nigeria vehicles as the young Lagos-based auto brand continues its quests to be the biggest automaker in Nigeria.

Nord’s latest cars were unveiled at its ultra-modern Automotive Complex in University of Lagos (UNILAG), were the A5 and Demir were also crafted out. The unveiling was shown to the public through its official Instagram and YouTube pages.

While the Nord A5 Crossover SUV is the latest generation of an already established model, the Nord Demir full-sized SUV designed for executives, CEOs is making its debut in the lucrative Nigerian automotive market.

Speaking at the unveiling held at its showroom in UNILAG, which was attended by celebrities and representatives of the Nigerian Auto Journalists Association (NAJA), Mr. Oluwatobi Ajayi, Nord Automobiles Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said :

“We are thrilled to present the Nord A5 and Nord Demir, which exemplify our dedication to delivering top-notch, locally-made vehicles. Our vision is to provide Nigerians with the best in automotive excellence, and these SUVs are a testament to that commitment”.

On the latest-generation of the A5 Crossover, he said :

“The Nord A5 is the latest iteration of a beloved Crossover SUV that has won the hearts of Nigerians. With an updated design, advanced technology, and improved performance, the Nord A5 is a testament to Nord Automobiles’ commitment to constant innovation.

Speaking further on the A5, he said :

“This crossover is a perfect blend of style and functionality. The interior has been meticulously designed for comfort and connectivity, making it an ideal choice for urban and suburban driving.”

While describing Nord Demir, a full-sized SUV that may rival the latest Toyota Prado SUV, Ajayi said :

“The Nord Demir is an elite large SUV tailored to meet the high standards of executives, CEOs, Public servants and politicians. This opulent SUV exudes power, prestige, and sophistication. The Nord Demir is designed to provide a luxurious experience with its spacious and exquisitely appointed interior.”

“It is equipped with cutting-edge technology, entertainment systems, and safety features. It is also available with Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and hybrid systems. The Nord Demir is more than just a mode of transportation… it is a statement of success and distinction,” he said.
