e-CMR Enforcement Patrol Car : Fast-selling, Nigerian-made Nord A5 SUV Joins Nigeria Police Fleet

Newly launched Nigeria Police e-CMR e-enforcement patrol vehicle is based on the Lagos-based automaker’s fast-selling Nord A5.

Unlike the base A5, the patrol car is kitted with gadgets to allow officers access real-time comprehensive data of every vehicle on their tablets.

All assembled units of Nord A5 sold out just two days after the latest-gen model made its debut on Friday October 27th 2023.

To cater for the high demand, Nord Automobiles began to assemble more units of the fast-selling Nord A5 Crossover SUV.

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) recently unveiled its e-CMR e-enforcement patrol vehicle and gadgets ahead of start of the proposed enforcement of the the digitalized Central Motor Registry (e-CMR).

The Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, while sharing photos of the Hi-tech patrol car on his X handle, stated that “with these equipment, no stress for vehicle owners and policemen on duty.”

Reacting to news, Mr. Oluwatobi Ajayi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nord Automobiles, re-tweeted the photos of the e-CMR e-enforcement patrol vehicle that is based on the Lagos-based automaker’s fast-selling Nord A5 Crossover.

Unlike the Nord A5 Crossover it is based on, the NPF e-CMR e-enforcement patrol vehicle (prototype) has been kitted with gadgets to allow officers access real-time comprehensive data of every vehicle on their tablets.

Nord A5

The all-new Nord A5 is the latest-generation model of the company’s beloved Crossover SUV. It boasts an updated design, advanced technology, and an improved performance. In addition, the interior has been meticulously designed for comfort and connectivity.

All assembled units of Nord A5 that was planned to be sold for the remaining period of the year sold out just two days after the latest-gen model made its debut on Friday October 27th 2023.

Taken to his official X page on October 30th 2023, Nord CEO stated that more units of the fast-selling Nord A5 Crossover SUV will be assembled to cater for the high demand.

“All the new Nord A5 we assembled and planned to sell between the day we launched and December 31st, 2023 were sold within 2 working days. Launched on Friday October 27th, 2023, by the COB Monday, 30th October, 2023 all units sold out. I thought I was bullish but the market demanded more #NordA5!”
