Acura is expanding its lineup with the all-new ADX model, an SUV set to launch early next year. Positioned just below the slightly larger RDX, the ADX will feature a refined design and premium interior elements.

It will be equipped with a small yet powerful turbocharged engine, aiming to attract buyers who seek both style and efficiency in this segment. The ADX is designed to fit into urban spaces while providing the versatility of an SUV. It is 4719 mm long, while the height is 1620 mm.

The new ADX is powered by a 1.5-liter VTEC four-cylinder turbo engine with around 200 horsepower, with a CVT transmission standard front-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive system can allocate up to 50 percent of the torque to the rear wheels.

ADX also brings a versatile driving experience with four standard driving modes: Snow, Comfort, Normal and Sport, plus Individual mode on more expensive versions.

On the exterior, the ADX channels the miniaturized look of the RDX and MDX models. It has the distinctive Acura Chicane LED daytime running lights and a frameless Diamond Pentagon grille. Base models come equipped with 18-inch wheels, while A-Spec and A-Spec Advance trims offer 19-inch options.

The interior of the ADX focuses on comfort and technology. The A-Spec trim adds Ultrasuede seats, a panoramic moonroof, and ventilated front seats. For added luxury, the Advance package includes a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, Google Built-In with Alexa and a heated steering wheel.

Every ADX comes standard with a 9.0-inch touchscreen, wireless phone compatibility, 5G connectivity and Acura’s safety package, AcuraWatch.
