Meet the all-new Ferrari 849 Testarossa, a 1035-hp plug-in sports car replacement for the SF90.
849 Testarossa takes inspiration from 1970s Sports Prototypes while the twin-tail design is inspired by the 512 S.
It is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system consisting of a twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors.
In Europe, the Coupe variant of the 849 Testarossa starts at $540,000 and $586,000 for the Convertible version.


Ferrari has unveiled the all-new 849 Testarossa, a 1035-hp hybrid plug-in super sports that shares a name with one of the marque’s most famous road-going models, the 1984 Testarossa.
Available in Coupe and a Convertible variants, the all-new 849 Testarossa replaces the discontinued SF90 Stradale and SF90 Spider in the Prancing Horse line-up.





In terms of styling, the 849 Testarossa takes inspiration from 1970s Sports Prototypes with its sharp and geometric lines while the twin-tail architecture inspired by the 512 S generate 10% of the downforce at the rear.
The 849 Testarossa is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system consisting of a twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors, delivering a total of 1050 CV (1035-hp), 50 more than the SF90 it replaces.


This powertrain allows the 849 Testarossa to reach 0-100 km/h (60 mph) in less than 2.3 seconds, 0-200 km/h (124 mph) in 6.35 seconds (6.5 seconds in Convertible) and a top-speed exceeding 330 km/h (205 mph).
Inside, seats are available in two versions in the the driver-focused interior : Comfort and a carbon-fibre racing seat. In the 849 Testarossa Convertible, the retractable hard top opens in just 14 seconds at speeds up to 45 km/h, allowing owners to enjoy open-air driving experience.


Four electric driving modes is available — Hybrid, Performance, Qualify and eDrive — In the eDrive mode, the 849 Testarossa fitted with 7.45 kWh lithium-ion battery can travel up to 25 km in electric drive only.
In Europe, the Coupe variant of 849 Testarossa starts at 460,000 euros ($540,000) and 500,000 euros ($586,000) for the Convertible version. In comparison, the SF90 it replaces started at around $550,000.
