Popular Lagos-based luxury car dealership, Polanco Exotic Cars, has announced the sale of a brand 2025 McLaren GTS sports car to Nigerian rapper and singer, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema.
The news of this expensive purchase comes just few days after Rema showed off his all-black luxury car collection in a tweet on his X handle, generating a significant buzz among his fans.

“I no get competition, my enemy na sapa,” the 24 year singer wrote in a tweet having a Bentley Bentayga EWB, a McLaren GTS sports car, and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G63) on display.
Polanco first welcomed the “first-ever McLaren GTS in Nigeria” into its massive showroom earlier in the month. The Lagos-based car dealer is the go-to dealer for Nigerian music stars, including Burna Boy and Wizkid.

Priced from $225k, the two seat grand tourer, which replaces the GT in the McLaren line-up, is designed to defy drivers expectations – “It’s an all-out McLaren supercar, through and through, that refuses to be constrained,” according to McLaren.
Powering the GTS is McLaren’s long-serving 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, which puts out 626hp and allows 0-100km/h (62mph) in 3.2 seconds and 0-200km/h (124mph) in 8.9 seconds, plus a top speed of 326 km/h (203 mph).
