All-new S680-based Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition celebrates the brand’s V12 engine, limited to just 50 units.
Mercedes‑Maybach S-Class (S 680) celebrates the history of its V12 engines first seen in the Maybach Zeppelin from the 1930s.
Limited-edition S-Class is finished in MANUFAKTUR olive metallic (upper body) and obsidian black metallic (lower).
Application of this two-tone exterior paint finish took up to 10 working days – twice as long as Maybach’s usual signature two-tone paintwork.


Mercedes‑Benz has unveiled the Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition, a limited-edition and fully equipped Mercedes‑Maybach S-Class (S 680) that celebrates the history of its V12 engines first seen in the Maybach Zeppelin from the 1930s.
Unveiled to VIP customers and press on 23 September 2025 at the historic Fort Michelangelo in Civitavecchia, Italy, the all-new S680-based Mercedes-Maybach V12 Edition is limited to only 50 examples and available in select markets.


The limited-edition Maybach S-Class is finished in MANUFAKTUR olive metallic on the upper body and obsidian black metallic on the lower, accented by a contrasting hightech silver metallic pinstripe.

According to Mercedes, applying this two-tone exterior paint finish on Mercedes‑Maybach V12 Edition took up to 10 working days – noting it is twice as long as Maybach’s usual signature two-tone paintwork.
Other touch of exclusivity includes edition-specific Maybach emblem on the C-pillar, Maybach double-M emblem, featuring a 24-carat gold medal ring with a a prominent “12” as a tribute to the legendary hood ornament of the Maybach Zeppelin DS 8.


Inside, it gets a Nappa leather in MANUFAKTUR exclusive saddle brown, special edition embroidery, a “1 of 50” badge in the centre console and a golden inlay at the rear centre console with twelve golden circles.
Other highlights of the new Mercedes‑Maybach V12 Edition include electrically operated comfort rear doors, active road noise compensation and E-Active Body Control active suspension for better ride comfort and agility.


Powering the Mercedes‑Maybach S 680 is a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12, which makes 612 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque – enough to propel the occupants from standstill to 60 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds, all the way to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
In addition to the Mercedes‑Maybach V12 Edition, each customer will get bespoke accessories like Robbe & Berking silver-plated champagne flutes with edition-specific engraving and a key gift box handcrafted in edition-specific key ring.
